White Bullet Engaging With Chinese and Other Asian Authorities To Prevent Ad Funded IP Infringement

Speaking at the 2018 China-EU Conference on IPR Protection Online and Innovation , White Bullet CEO Peter Szyszko laid out the scope and scale of ad funded digital IP infringement and potential risks posed to the Chinese digital ad market.The conference – which was held in Xiamen, China - was jointly organised by EU IPKey and CAASA (China Anti-Infringement & Anti-Counterfeit Innovation Strategic Alliance) to promote collaboration between China and the European Union on IP rights protection online.Collaboration between European and Chinese rightsholders is fundamental to the global knowledge economy. With efforts underway for IP rightsowners and advertising industries to fight IP infringement in Europe and the US, China - and more broadly Asia - is looking to develop similar initiatives.Global cooperation is needed to defund digital piracy. White Bullet is working the European Commission and welcomes this joint initiative from two of the world’s largest markets, and will continue to collaborate and engage with Follow the Money i nitiatives worldwide to help ensure misplaced ad revenue is not funding illegal operators.
